What I am looking at this week?

Market still seems to want to drop. Hmmm. Develop the idea of running with the market instead of trying to fight it. That said. The S&P 500 eminis are up today BUT many resource plays are down big today.

Oils and Mining are down as I write this. Maybe I should look at Penny Stocks. :) You know get those 1000% gains.

I am watching a couple of stocks. VMware has had a great drop and wanting to buy back into this one, But I am waiting to see some strength and turn in both the 30 min chart and the daily. AAPL also looks OK to me here. Again waiting for the turn.

What to do this week?

I'm not looking at any long positions, That's for sure. My scan of selected stocks has not provided anything on interest to me. So that leaves me with three options.

1. Play the down side (I don't have much there maybe trade some puts on the QQQQs.

2. Protect or Close the longs that I do have. I do admit to still having a few despite this rapid drop in the major indexes. Also looking at a couple of stocks AAPL is one. Though again. I'd be trading against a strong downtrend.

3. Sell everything and go to cash.

Answer... Probably a combination of all three. It's Sunday night and the ES is down 7 points from it's close on Friday. Have to see if it continues.
